As June unfolded, SET marked a series of remarkable events and experiences, celebrating milestones and creating unforgettable memories for our travelers. Let’s take a look back at the highlights of this exciting month, and look forward to what is to come in July.
SET’s 10 Year Celebration at the NACDA Convention, June 10
This month kicked off with a significant milestone: SET’s 10th anniversary, celebrated at the NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) Convention. Our team was deeply honored and grateful to all our partners, friends, and family who joined us at Delilah’s at the Wynn Las Vegas. The evening was truly remarkable as we celebrated a decade of service in the collegiate industry. We were fortunate to share this special occasion with the partners who have contributed to our success over the years.
As we celebrated into the evening, we made sure to raise our glasses to our partners for their trust in SET, our dedication to customer service, and the many more years ahead of providing the best in fan travel in the collegiate marketplace.
The Northeastern Historic Baseball Tour, June 15-20
From June 15 to June 20, 43 travelers from nine universities embarked on the Northeastern Historic Baseball Tour. This tour was a baseball enthusiast’s dream, featuring private tours of iconic venues such as Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Our esteemed host, Dr. Michael Raycraft, brought over 30 years of historical baseball expertise to the table, enriching the experience with fascinating insights and stories.
One of the tour’s highlights was when a traveler caught a foul ball at a Yankees game, a moment that only added to the magic of the trip! The camaraderie among the travelers, coupled with the rich history and grandeur of the venues, made this tour an unforgettable journey through one of America’s fondest pastimes.
Pikes Peak Hill Climb, June 20-24
The Pikes Peak Hill Climb, held from June 20 to June 24, offered an adrenaline-pumping experience from a VIP perspective. Highlights included a police escort, a VIP reception, and access to meet and mingle with some of the racers. This week of fun gave an immersive glimpse into the world of hill climb racing.
One guest shared their appreciation, saying, “Great care and thought was taken to allow us an amazing experience… Thank you for making unforgettable memories for me and my son!” There is no doubt that this event showcased the thrill and excitement that define our SET experiences.
